Want to be functional in old age? Rebuild your "toddler strength!"

Have you ever noticed how good small children are at squats?

And they don't even train for it!  Weird?  Not really.

We're designed to do things like this. Children prove it without breaking a sweat.

What's weird is NOT being able to fully squat (or bend over, or turn your neck, etc.) WITHOUT joint pain.

And yet that's what happens to damn near all of us these days, even so-called "athletes" whose entire PURPOSE is built around moving well.

Pick your culprit:

  • sedentary living
  • ending physical education in Western schools
  • overspecialization in sports
  • overreliance on medication and surgery for joint trauma
  • overemphasis on muscle size and weight loss (appearance) in fitnes

There's plenty more, but the solution for all of them is the same:

You must go back to childlike state.

For many of our clients, this requires THINKING DIFFERENTLY about...

...what exercise is for

...how joint pain really works

...which tissues need to be the main focus (hint: not muscle)

and

...the way movement enhances or limits quality of life.

From there, it's as simple as selecting movements that restore this "toddler-level" joint ability and doing them consistently.

When they do, something miraculous occurs...

Their second childhood begins.

They're ENJOYING the activities they love.

They're LESS AFRAID to get hurt.

They have the CONFIDENCE and EASY JOY of, well, a child.
