Do You REALLY Want To Heal?

Then know how The Four Elements of Healing Work together:


Water, Sleep, Diet, and Eustress (positive stress) all have to be present in the right amounts to optimize your body's ability to repair joint tissues.


The first question I get asked about this is "Well, what's the right amount?"

Here you go:

Water: .25 to .5 oz per pound of bodyweight per day

Sleep: 7 to 9 hours on average per night

Diet (protein only): 1.2 to 1.7 grams per kilogram of bodyweight per day

Eustress (exercise only): 30-60 minutes per day

This information comes, in part, from the National Strength & Conditioning Association's recommendations for active adults.

If you know you're fairly deficient in ANY of these areas, fixing that first will go a long way towards reducing your pain and moving the way you want to again.

Once these numbers become a normal part of your life, the ceiling on how far you can turn back the clock on your joint damage is MUCH higher than you would ever believe.
