Need more joint repair? Try "blending" it into your day!
is "blending" movements that don't usually go together, especially high-skill movements like parkour and archery. I encourage my clients to do the same thing with their joint repair practice and so-called "daily living movements" - brushing teeth, cooking, taking out the trash, etc.
These moments are actually PERFECT for blending with joint repair:
1) They only last a few minutes. PLENTY of time to trigger the body's joint repair processes.
2) They're not "high-skill." You have the extra mental capacity to perform a mobility exercise while completing the "main" task.
3) They're not high-impact. Joint repair thrives in the low/moderate zone of intensity. You can apply this fact to virtually ANY activity and make it into rehab.
Clients often find this gives them tremendous FREEDOM and AUTONOMY in composing their daily joint repair practice without the pressure of "finding the time" to do it.
The time is there, and quite a bit of it can be found in the movements you're NOT CURRENTLY USING as joint repair...but could be :)
